Personal Training
...Physical
strength and joint range of motion are assessed to create an
appropriate starting point. From there, short, mid, and
long-term goals are discussed and established. Once all the
information has been gathered a fitness program is created
and exercise begins.
Exercise
selections, as well as many other variables are manipulated
dependent upon the individual’s needs and goals. Each
program is carefully designed to attain results in the most
time efficient manner possible while decreasing the client’s
risk of injury. Focus is placed on strengthening the
weakest muscles first to restore and maintain muscular
balance. This helps to strengthen the body as a whole and
improve things like posture, compensations, and balance.
Progressions
within the fitness programs are monitored by the instructor
and appropriately adjusted to assure client success and
avoid plateaus. In order to maintain their success a large
amount of energy is put into educating the clients about the
body and how it works. The more knowledge the clients have,
the greater their ability to reach their goals and hold onto
them. So, if knowledge is power, than consider this power
training!
